Our Team

Kevin Hair

After graduating from college in 1995, Kevin relocated to the southeastern United States and began his career working for insurance companies in different capacities. Before entering into the construction side of the restoration industry, Kevin was an underwriter, claims field adjuster, and worked for a third party administrator. The last 6 years of his now 17 year career on the restoration side of the business has been as the owner of Camel City Restoration. He and Sarah, his wife of 22 years, have the goal of creating a legacy for their three children with the business. The industry has provided their family with many opportunities and he loves being able to make a difference in people’s lives. Shannon Tuttle, one of Camel City’s project managers, is 41 years old and has 22 years of construction experience with 10 years of insurance restoration experience. Throughout his 20 years living in the triad and his time in this industry, he has also served as an exterior restoration business owner and a regional branch manager for the 9th largest residential roofing contractor in the U.S. Customer service is his priority when dealing with a loss because he understands the mix of emotions that come with having your daily life interrupted due to disaster. Shannon enjoys working on cars, spirit bikes, and computers and has an unhealthy affinity for slim jims.

Jim Carey

Did You Know?
You Have the Right to Choose

People often don’t realize that they do not have to go with the companies recommended by their insurance, which are often nationally franchised companies with little quality guarantee. You can choose local companies that have quality guarantee and know how to put you first. We encourage you to be hands on with your insurance! You have a right to choose who is in your home, and Camel City Restoration has a great working relationship with insurance companies!

Climatized and Secure Warehouse Storage

Should your damage require that your personal property leave the climatized environment of your home, we have the answer. Our offices are attached to our climatized warehouse and you have the option to let us store your furniture for you. This means that your personal property will remain at temperatures between 67 and 72 degrees. Extreme changes in temperature or exposure to high or low humidity can have a negative impact on your personal belongings, so why choose an on site storage unit that does not offer regulated temperature? We also have 24/7 security through our warehouse cameras, installed to guard your possessions, and we scan each of your items so we know where they are located at any given time.

Our Certifications & Licenses

Collectively we hold industry certifications to perform at top levels in our field and we hold state licenses for lead remediation. North Carolina Lead Certified

  • North Carolina General Contractors License
  • IICRC – Fire & Smoke Restoration
  • IICRC – Odor Control
  • IICRC – Applied Microbial Remediation (MOLD)
  • IICRC – Water Damage Restoration
  • IICRC – Applied Structural Drying
  • IICRC – Carpet Cleaning Technician
